Using Blow-Out Candle

The app lets you customize a virtual candle and extinguish it by blowing toward your iPhone's microphone or using the manual control. Microphone access is optional. Sound detection is a heuristic: speech, music or sustained noise can sometimes resemble blowing. It does not measure airflow.

Free options, celebrations and birthday hats are usable without purchasing Premium. You may preview diamond candles, colours and backgrounds for free; starting a candle moment, placing your own candle in AR or sharing your own design with a diamond selection requires Premium. A received gift can be enjoyed in its received design for free, including diamond selections. Receiving a gift does not unlock Premium, transfer the sender's purchase or replace your own saved candle settings.

Optional AR

AR is optional and requires camera permission and a supported iPhone. It places candle artwork on detected horizontal surfaces and can align optional birthday hats with people, dogs and cats. Placement and hat alignment depend on camera conditions and may be imperfect. Normal candle use remains available without camera access.

Candle gifts

Send to Friend exports your chosen message and candle design using the sharing app you select. A recipient needs Blow-Out Candle to open the app link or candle file. Anyone with a shared link or file can read and forward its contents; the app does not encrypt the gift or control recipient copies. Sharing grants access to that received design, not a Premium licence.

Premium and Apple purchases

Premium is an optional, one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks all diamond options in the iOS app for the purchasing Apple Account. It has no subscription, renewal or recurring fee. Apple shows the applicable localized price and processes payment. Premium unlocks after a verified completed purchase; a pending family-approval request does not grant access. Free options remain available while approval is pending.

Restoration and refunds

After reinstalling or moving to another supported iPhone, use the same Apple Account and choose Settings > Premium > Restore purchases. Restoration does not start microphone capture. A refund or revocation removes Premium access. This purchase does not promise access to a separate Android app or another product. Refund requests are handled by Apple and remain subject to Apple's decision. Deleting the app does not refund a purchase.

Licence and privacy

Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the app: Apple Standard EULA. These product terms supplement that agreement without replacing applicable consumer rights.

The Blow-Out Candle Privacy Policy describes optional microphone and AR camera analysis, temporary face/pet tracking, user-initiated sharing, local preferences and Apple purchases. Company website terms are available at eaglereach.dev/terms.html.
