Blow-Out Candle Privacy Policy

Microphone

If you allow microphone access and start a candle moment, the app analyzes audio on your iPhone to detect blowing. Audio is not saved or uploaded. Capture stops when the candle is extinguished, the moment is closed, or the app moves to the background. Microphone permission can be changed in iPhone Settings. The manual tap-to-blow-out control works without microphone access.

Preferences

Candle style, number, colour, background, celebration, birthday-hat and language preferences, and a purchase-awaiting-approval indicator, are stored in the app's local preferences. Blow sensitivity is held in memory during the current app session. The app does not provide its own cloud synchronization. Device backups and restores may retain preferences under Apple's backup settings; Eagle Reach does not receive those backups.

User-initiated sharing

When you choose Send to Friend, sharing exports your optional message, a generated candle preview image, an app-opening link and a candle-file fallback through the sharing app you choose. The link and file contain candle, number, colour, background, celebration settings and your message. The link encodes its contents; it does not encrypt the message. Anyone who receives or forwards the link or file can read the message. Sharing includes no microphone audio, camera images, face/pet tracking information or purchase information. Eagle Reach does not operate a gift server or receive a copy of the gift. Anyone with the link or file and Blow-Out Candle can enjoy the received design, including Diamond designs, without gaining a Premium license. Files saved or sent outside the app remain under your control and the chosen service’s policies; deleting Blow-Out Candle does not delete recipients’ copies.

Purchases

Premium is a non-consumable, one-time purchase that unlocks all diamond candles, colours and backgrounds for life, without subscription or recurring fees. Apple processes in-app purchases through your Apple Account. The app uses verified StoreKit transaction information to determine Premium access and restore purchases using the same Apple Account. Verified refund or revocation of the purchase removes Premium access. The app does not receive your payment-card details. Apple's handling of purchase and account information is described in Apple's privacy policy.

Retention and control

The app does not retain microphone recordings, camera recordings or AR tracking information. Received gifts are held in memory while displayed; sharing creates a temporary local gift file and preview for the iOS share sheet. Saved files, recipient copies and the selected sharing service are outside the app's deletion controls. Deleting the app removes its preferences and local temporary files from that installation; offloading the app may preserve its data, and a device backup may retain an earlier copy under Apple's settings. Deleting the app does not delete Apple's purchase records or cancel a completed one-time purchase. Purchase questions and refund requests are managed through Apple's available account and purchase-support channels.

Optional augmented reality

AR uses the camera to place existing candle artwork in your surroundings. Camera frames and temporary tracking information are processed on your iPhone and are not recorded, uploaded or retained as a world map. Camera access stops when you close AR or the app enters the background. You can change camera permission in iPhone Settings.

Optional birthday hats detect faces and dog/cat head landmarks on-device. Temporary head positions are used only to align the hats; they do not identify people or animals. Camera images, face/pet landmarks and tracking identifiers are never saved or uploaded. Choosing None stops hat detection; leaving AR clears the temporary tracking data. Normal candle use does not require camera permission.
