ScrollPocket Privacy Policy

Last updated 16 October 2026

ScrollPocket for iOS is provided by Eagle Reach Enterprises Limited. This policy explains how the app, its share extensions and Home Screen widgets handle information you choose to save, recognize, organize or share. It covers the iOS release, not a separate Android app.

Your saves and local processing

ScrollPocket keeps the posts, links, selected screenshots and other content you supply, along with available source details, recognized text, places, events, collections, trip plans, corrections and personal notes, in local app storage. Original captures are retained before enrichment begins. Removing a field or screenshot from a save normally hides it using a reversible exclusion; retained original evidence may remain in the private Library and backup.

Screenshot text and supported code recognition use Apple Vision on your device. Automatic Apple Intelligence processing uses an available on-device Apple model on supported systems. Optional local media transcription uses Apple Speech functionality and may request Speech Recognition permission or download language assets. Native translation is user-triggered, uses Apple’s system translation interface and may require language downloads. These features can produce errors. This iOS release does not enable ScrollPocket’s separate advanced-processing backend.

Optional Private Cloud Compute

Use Private Cloud Compute is off by default. On eligible iOS 27 devices, you can enable it in Settings or the Find more details screen. When enabled, an explicit Quick take or summary refresh, Ask your saves question, alternative plan-order request or Find more details request may send relevant saved source-text excerpts and your question or plan preferences to Apple’s Private Cloud Compute model. These requests use Apple’s Foundation Models framework, not an Eagle Reach AI server. Automatic capture, classification and summary generation do not use this cloud route.

Requests exclude screenshot images and other media files, private notes, custom-text sections, hidden text sections, removed screenshot readings, complete saved-record files and the full Library. Visible retained source text can still contain personal information or words from a structured field you removed; removing a map or link field does not redact the original caption. Find more details shows its source text before you request analysis. Review the content you choose to process and do not supply information you lack permission to send.

Internet access, supported Apple Intelligence hardware, software, region and language availability, and Apple’s per-user cloud limits apply. A cloud request may fall back to an available on-device model. Saving and manual organization do not require cloud AI. You can turn the preference off for future requests. Derived suggestions are kept locally when cached and can be included in your private backup; original sources remain unchanged. Exact-source checks and editable suggestions reduce errors but do not guarantee that a date or place association is correct. Apple’s processing is governed by its own privacy information, including its Private Cloud Compute information.

Network requests and external services

The app is not entirely offline. Recovering public post/page information, previews and available media can contact the source website, its media hosts and supported provider endpoints, including social-platform services. These requests may disclose the requested URL and ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, to the recipient. Source services determine what content they provide and how they handle requests.

Place searches and resolution use Apple Maps services. Choosing Open in Apple Maps or Google Maps sends the selected place/query to that service. Opening a link sends you to the destination using the selected app. ScrollPocket does not request live GPS location for these saved-place features. Apple system services and external apps operate under their own policies, including Apple’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.

Photos, events, Calendar and widgets

The native Photos picker supplies only images you select; ScrollPocket does not request broad access to your Photos library. Images shared from Photos or Files may include embedded metadata, which is retained privately with the original. The app’s previewed image-sharing flow renders outgoing images without the original EXIF/GPS metadata.

Events can be saved without a reminder. Optional reminders use local iOS notifications after your confirmation and, when needed, notification permission. A reminder may expose its title on your device according to your notification settings. Calendar export opens Apple’s native editor with the chosen event details; you review and save the event there. ScrollPocket does not read your calendars or provide two-way calendar synchronization. Your chosen calendar provider may synchronize that event under its settings.

Home Screen widgets use limited local App Group data: saved event records provide upcoming event titles and dates, while a collection snapshot provides collection names, member counts and save titles. Widgets do not include images or private notes. Widget content is visible wherever you place the widget, including to people who can view that screen.

Sharing, feedback and private backups

Sharing is initiated by you and uses the receiving app or service you select. The previewed save-sharing flow excludes personal notes and custom text by default; you can explicitly include eligible content. Private after-use experience records are not included. Collection guide PDFs exclude private notes, diary notes and private experience. Recipients may retain or forward anything you send; deleting a save does not delete their copies.

Send feedback prepares an email to hello@eaglereach.dev. You review and send it. App-version information is optional, and saves, screenshots, logs and notes are not automatically attached. If you contact us, we receive the message, your email address and content you choose to provide, and use it to respond and handle the request. Avoid sending sensitive content unnecessarily.

Backup and restore is an explicit Files workflow, not an automatic ScrollPocket cloud service. The private backup package is unencrypted and may contain original images/media, retained raw or hidden evidence, personal notes and other private records. The app warns before export. Files, iCloud Drive or another destination you choose may store or synchronize the exported package. Restore is previewed and additive, and restored reminders require reconfirmation before activation. Protect backup files and delete unwanted copies from their destinations yourself.

Accounts, advertising and control

This release requires no ScrollPocket account, includes no third-party advertising or analytics SDK, and does not use your saves for cross-app advertising tracking. It does not provide hosted collaboration or automatic cross-device Library synchronization. These statements do not mean that requests to source websites, Apple services or apps you choose to open/share with are invisible to those services.

Delete a whole save to remove its Library entry and app-managed assets no longer referenced by another save. Reversible field removals are not a promise to erase all raw evidence. You can remove collections, plans and optional reminders in the app. Deleting the app normally removes its installation data, but iOS offloading, system backups, shared containers and files previously exported or shared may retain copies under their own controls. Eagle Reach does not receive your device backups. Contact us to request deletion of correspondence you sent us, subject to applicable legal retention requirements.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Information may be processed in countries other than your own, with safeguards appropriate to the information and applicable law.

We may update this policy as our practices evolve. We will publish the revised version here and update the date shown above.
