Using Purrpose

Use Purrpose for its intended purpose and in accordance with applicable law. Do not misuse it, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, circumvent security or usage limits, reverse engineer it except where law expressly permits, or infringe another person's rights. Purrpose has no online app account; keep your device and any exported backup files secure.

Google Play and Purrpose Plus

Android purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to the applicable Google Play Terms of Service. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement does not apply to this Android version. Mandatory marketplace terms and applicable consumer rights remain unaffected.

Purrpose Plus monthly and annual plans renew automatically unless cancelled through Google Play. The lifetime option is a one-time purchase, not a recurring subscription. Purrpose Plus access is linked to the purchasing store account. Purchases on iOS and Android are separate and do not transfer between platforms. Store checkout shows the applicable price and billing terms. Uninstalling Purrpose or deleting local records does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests follow the relevant marketplace's rules and any applicable consumer rights.

Manage or cancel a subscription in Google Play's Payments & subscriptions settings or its subscription centre, using the account that purchased it. Restore purchases in Purrpose while signed in to that Google Play account. Restoring Plus does not restore your priorities, check-ins or diary notes.

Your records and backups

You retain rights in your content. Purrpose for Android keeps records locally and excludes its data from automatic Android cloud backup and device transfer. Create a manual backup before uninstalling or changing phones if you want to keep your records. Exported JSON backups are unencrypted; keep them private. Android and iOS backup formats are not interchangeable.

Purrpose wellbeing notice

Purrpose is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Consult a healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Intellectual property

Eagle Reach and its licensors retain all rights in the services, including software, visual design, branding and content, except for the limited right to use them under these terms. Feedback may be used to improve our products without an obligation to compensate you. You retain rights in content that you lawfully provide.

Third-party services

A service may link to or work with third-party products. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party content or services outside our control.

Availability and changes

We may update, improve, suspend or discontinue features. We aim to provide dependable products but do not promise that every service will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We will give reasonable notice where required by law.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, services are provided “as is” and without implied warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Eagle Reach is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of a service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies or liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable consumer law.

Termination

You may stop using a service at any time. We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, address misuse or operate the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will publish the revised version here. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them, where permitted by law.
