Purrpose Privacy Policy

Local information and reminders

Your display name, priorities, check-ins, reminder choices, moods, diary notes and companion preferences stay in the app's local storage. Widgets use a local snapshot. Eagle Reach does not receive this content through a sync service. We do not sell personal information. Purrpose has no online app account, advertising, third-party analytics or developer-operated cloud sync. The Android app does not request your location or use a weather provider. Optional reminders are scheduled locally; notification permission can be changed in Android settings.

Google Play purchases

Optional Purrpose Plus purchases use Google Play Billing. The app receives product information, purchase status and transaction identifiers to display offers, unlock or restore Plus and acknowledge completed purchases. Google handles payment details and billing-service information under its Google Play terms and privacy policy. Eagle Reach does not receive your full payment-card details. Reviewer access stores a local activation marker, separate from purchases and excluded from manual backups; it can be turned off in Settings.

Manual backups and sharing

Android app data is excluded from automatic cloud backup and device transfer. Before uninstalling or changing phones, create a backup in Settings if you want to keep your records. A manual backup is an unencrypted JSON file that includes your app content and diary notes. Keep it private. You select its destination with Android's document picker; a selected cloud provider may upload it under its own policies. Android and iOS backup formats are not interchangeable. Share cards and invitations go to the app or destination you choose. Eagle Reach does not host these files.

Support, retention and deletion

Email Support opens a draft to support@eaglereach.dev containing app version/build, device manufacturer/model and Android version. You can edit or remove this information; nothing is sent until you send the email. We then receive your address, message and attachments and use them to respond and resolve the issue. Do not attach diary content unless you intend to share it.

We retain support correspondence only as needed to handle the request and meet applicable legal obligations. You can request deletion at the support address above. We delete information we no longer need; where law requires particular records to be kept, we retain only those records for the required purpose and period. This does not give us access to content stored only on your device. You can also contact us to request access or correction, or if you believe a child has unexpectedly provided personal information.

You can edit or delete individual records in Purrpose. Clearing Android app storage or uninstalling removes its local data; separately saved backups, shared files and emails are not removed. Manage those with their recipients or storage providers. Protect your device with its lock screen and keep exported files private. Purrpose for Android is intended for people aged 13 and above, not children under 13; applicable store age restrictions also apply.

Service providers and disclosure

Our email providers process the correspondence you choose to send so that we can respond. Google Play and the storage, mail or sharing services you select handle information under their own policies. We may disclose information we hold where required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. This does not give us access to records stored only on your device.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Information may be processed in countries other than your own, with safeguards appropriate to the information and applicable law.
